My Most Used Makeup

I have never been that into makeup. I do enjoy experimenting with different eyeshadow and lip colors, but I will be the first to admit makeup is not what I am good at. I wanted to share some of my most used makeup products for all of those girls out there that are like me and buy most of their products from the drug store!

For someone that isn't that into makeup, I have a ton of eyeshadow palettes. This isn't even half of my collection! To start things off, I want to talk about my favorite makeup brand: Lorac! Lorac eyeshadows are so pigmented and they go on so smoothly. They stay on all day with no problem! The larger black palette, the Lorac Pro, is brand new and I have only used it a few times. I am loving it so far! I use the pinks and browns in this palette most often. The other Lorac palettes I use all the time are the Princess and Queen palettes. I love the pink & maroon shades in the Queen palette, and I get a ton of wear out of the medium brown shade in the Princess palette. The sparkly palette in the top left corner is also new to my collection, but has been getting a lot of use. This Winter Magic eyeshadow palette has some really pretty neutral shades. Last but not least, my makeup collection wouldn't be complete without some Avon in there somewhere. The little black palette is part of Avon's eyeshadow quads. There are TONS of quads to choose from and they are really reasonably priced. I have 5 or 6 quads in my palette collection! This particular quad palette gets the most use when I go on a night out.

I am really not that fancy when it comes to my eyelashes and eyebrows. I just recently started filling in my brows, and they are already pretty thick, so I just fill them in with a little bit of eyeshadow from another one of Avon's quad palettes. fill in my brows lightly with the darkest shade, shade 4, then I put a little highlight underneath my brow with the lightest shade, shade 1. I As you can see, I have gotten a ton of use out of this palette recently and am due for a new one ASAP. When it comes to mascara, I just put on my trusted Maybelline falsies and I'm good to go!

I really do not wear much face makeup at all. And when I do, I am defintiely not picky. I don't ever wear foundation, but when my skin is particularly bad, I use this Revlon Age Defying cream makeup. I actually picked it out of my mom's makeup collection one day when I needed some good cover-up, and it worked pretty well for me. I think I am due for an upgrade soon, so if anyone has any good cover-up alternatives, I would love to know! I recently started priming my eyes with Lorac's behind the scenes eye primer. This little tester bottle came in the package with my Lorac Pro palette, so I decided I would give it a try. It actually has been helping my eyeshadow stay on longer and for my makeup to set better.

If I ever feel like wearing lipstick, I almost always go for my Rimmel Provocolips liquid lipsticks. I literally just pick them up from Walmart or Target for around $7. They are super inexpensive and I get tons of wear out of them. I would definitely recommend these lipsticks. If I am not in the mood for a liquid lipstick, I will usually go for one of my Beyond Color Lipsticks (silver packaging) from Avon. I find that these lipsticks stay on much longer compared to all of the other non-liquid lipsticks in my collection. If I feel like I need to line my lips, I will always go for my Glimmersticks Lip Liner from Avon. My lips are a little small, and sometimes I want them to look a little bigger. In that case, I use the NYX Pump it Up Lip Plumper. It actually does make my lips look a little bigger if I use it a few days in a row. It acts as a lip gloss on your lips and I actually enjoy wearing it! Sometimes I really don't feel like wearing anything on my lips at all. If that's the case, I usually just go for some lip balm. Here I just have one of Zoella's lip balms from her Christmas collection a few years back.

If I am putting on makeup, this is most likely the look I am trying to go for. I love the pink smoky eye look! I wear a lot of mauve/pink clothing, so I love to wear pink and mauve on my eyes as well. I would never claim to be an expert, but I am happy with how my makeup turns out most days.
